A Creative Conversation presented as a partnership between Americans for the Arts and the DC Forum for Emerging Arts Leaders.

Nonprofit business models are changing and may need to change to adapt to the current global economy.  What does the new nonprofit look like?  How has the economic recession impacted this at an accelerated pace?  How can emerging leaders not only survive but thrive in this new environment?

We will begin by hearing from a diverse panel of arts professionals.  After gaining the panel's perspective, attendees will breakout for a chance to participate in smaller group discussions.  We'll come back together as a large group to share feedback, ideas, and strategies.

For those who want more networking time or who are unable to attend the Conversation, we will be adjourning to Gaffney's in Downtown Bethesda to continue the conversation and for snacks and drinks.  Gaffney's is reserving a space for us and will be extending their happy hour to our group.
